I could not find anything on the site. I was wondering how easy/hard it would be to replace the e-brake boot? The boot on my new toy is ripped. How hard is it to get an oem part? Its a '01 ACR. Also, I want to put back in the 5 point harness on the drivers side. I probably wount use it but I want it there for when I go to car shows. What tools will I need and how hard is this process? Details will be appreciated. :)

EZ.....remove console cover, replace boot. PartsRack has em, Tator too

"put back 5-pts" Do you have them? They should simply snap in ! Did you remove the anchor hardware? CALL FOR MORE..... we can figure this out with dialogue...small hand tools only....

To remove the center console remember to pull back on the e-brake handle a little harder then normal to get that baby standing almost straight up. It will make getting it to clear at the front near the radio much easier w/o risking it breaking there. I've seen several with the tell-tale cracks of that.

Also... I have been collecting a spare interior for my '01 and along the way have ended up with
a few extra pieces. Including this e-brake boot. I really only wanted the boot frame, but the
brand new leather came with it.
I don't need it any more as I think I have like 5 of them now.
This one is brand new short of having been put on a console once (tabs have been cycled once).

I paid $10.50 for it and would really like to get my entire investment back out of it. ;)

JonB has great stuff too so just let me know.

thanks for the reminder, ive been wanting to replace both my shifter & ebrake boots but theyve been low on my priority list. anyone have an estimate on howmuch a set would cost so i can figure out if i can ask someone to get em for me for Christmass??

i havnt had anything to compare mine to but after looking at that pic you posted dave, mine look all old and crusty in comparison.

Give JOn B at partsrack a call or p.m. Dave. Dave said he might have a couple spares to sell.
