Engine Oil Cooler

<FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Does the engine oil cooler drain back into the oil pan after shutdown and if so how long might it take in order to get an accurate oil level reading?

Does anyone know the cooler and line capacity?

Jon- Does it (the cooler) drain better or quicker if you have the front end up on ramps to do the oil change?
