Fixing HRE\'s

The crack in my 540R has been fixed but the amount of metal used in the weld requires alot of weight to be added in the balancing process.

I'm thinking that replacing the outer wheel is the best plan assuming it costs less than the whole wheel. Does anyone know whether or not HRE sells the peices to a three piece wheel separately?

I've written them a few times (on their website) but have no replies. If there's a better way to reach them to ask, I'd be thankful for that tip as well.

thats the great thing about owning 3 piece wheels you can get them fixed for less $$$ than 1 peice wheels. now if they could just fix those leaking valves stems they have they would be at the top of my list. i used to have a set of HRE wheels on an old 98' vette that i used to own and they leaked horribly despite repairs

Now that's customer service for ya! They charge that ridiculous amount of money for wheels and then ignore people when they email them. I hate that.

thanks for the heads up.
