Gen1 Soft Top

Is the soft top for the gen1's collapsible so it will fit in the trunk? By looking at it, it appears that it is but I was afraid to break or bend anything trying.

Tim,
Yes, the top folds. The sides are pivoted at the (can't
recall front or rear), and have clips which keep them locked at the other end. The three side bows in the middle
get clipped into the sides. Kinda klunky, but it seems to
work alright. Major PITA handling/storing the thing though, so I'm fashioning a temp. top for the "gently
misting rain" we get around here...

Tim- check where the sides meet the back of the softtop, there are clips that slide back to release the sides, which should then fold on. It fits in the trunk with some wrestling.


obaa- If you pull off a good design for a "temp top" you'll make a good deal of money before you knew what happened!
