A frontal impack with a parked vehicle can't mean "clean" in anyones book.....could it?

I think people have different ways of interpreting the phrase "clean title." To some it means the car has no accident history, and to others it means the car may have been in an accident but it doesn't have a Salvage/Rebuilt title.

You're being up front and honest about it, no doubt there by reading your statements. And you posted Pics, so you're not trying to hide behind just words. But the statement about car being worth that at the minimum isn't accurate in my book. My opinion of course. Hoods, bumpers, etc. very expensive, then paint. Hit so hard it cracked that console maybe ?? Moderate to severe damage sounds like an accurate description, but looks more like moderate to me, nowhere near severe.

Big $$ in parts and paint. Great for a body/paint guy that can fix that stuff.
Clean Title to me means no Salvage. You can be in a crash and still have a clean Title. Big thing; is underneath the car correct and straight ? Or just panels, hood, bumper damage ? Still big $$ and 40k seems high. Maybe 35k is more realistic. All Red car, wrecked at one point, yea it's an 02, cool, but still, not the biggest seller out there for that money.

Thanks for posting the Pics though, gives it a whole new spin. Funny how our minds get racing without the Pics !

The frame was sectioned too. I would have to agree that it is not worth the 40. Hell I already bought a plane ticket until I saw the pics and heard about the frame

It's worth the money he's asking IMO. I have been around these cars for many years.
The accident happened in a parking lot. Not alot of speed involved. Did not deploy the airbags. The console is the typical crack when someone sits on the center console. The re-build has been completly redone with the exception of the hood vent and some other minor things. The car has 3 coats of clear on it so it could be wet sanded and look perfect.
The interior looks like a 1900 mile car. Engine and transmission are sound. The front end needs re-shimed back a little (too much gap between the hood and bumper). The front of the frame was replaced instead of being bent back. One wheel has some curb rash.
I saw the car when he first got it, and there was not alot of damage, like you see when most of these cars are wrecked.
I have described the car as best that I can, so there won't be any misunderstanding. That's why I said to begin with, that if somebody is close by, call me and come by and look at the car.
It's a brand new car that was wrecked in a parking lot (by somebody playing around) and needs a little bit more to finish it. Tom.

sounds like a fair deal to me-minimal needed to perfect it.
