Stryker red it is. Depending on the lighting there are orange and burgundy tones.

Yep...Stryker red. Stunning color in person. That interior that was in that car was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I was able to sit in that car at VOI and I was in heaven.

Still my favorite color on the car after seeing the other looks.
No need for a stripe of of any kind on this hood/paint combo imho.

I'd really like to see the track pack wheels in silver finish. It's a great design and a pitty to hide them under excessive brake dust..oops I mean black wheels

Theres an orange base under translucent red on that paint. So, I'm not surprised that under bright light conditions the orange shines through.

Really stunning color.

I wasn't a fan of the cognac interior in GTSs originally, but I like it in the Gen V.. Seems more well executed. Its not the best fit for a stryker red though, I will agree with that.

I wonder if the replacement for SSG will the "ultimate green" in the way this is the "ultimate red". perhaps it would have a yellow basecoat that would shine through like the orange basecoat in Stryker Red. just speculation and conjecture, btw.

Doesn't ssg already have that?
I can sort of see a golden hue underneath it when the sun hits the paint.

Not sure why SRT is using this difficult paint process of translucent top coats, etc. It makes it impossible to replicate if you need to repaint any part of the car for any reason. Using a Flex paint where the metal flakes are coated with a certain finish coating ensures a perfect match in an easy base coat clear coat process. I love Stryker Red as it looks awesome and I am a color changing paint freak but this R&D process they are taking to accomplish the same thing is down right scary and unneccessary. For a car that is going to be driven, there are much better ways to go.

Saw this exact same thing with the Saleen specific paints in Speedlab Yellow and Beryillium. Impossible to match up even with the specific formula. The Saleen spec BASF colors from BASF, easy as pie to match up as a simple base coat clear coat, 100% correct each and every time as long as you used the same primer coats and colors underneath.

I don't think this is Stryker Red but even if it is, its really great with the reflections!

Thank you for sharing the pics. I didn't get to go to VOI 12 and I was looking forward to see some pictures like these. I'm going to put some of your gen5 pics for everyone enjoyment below as this is the gen5 section.

I agree by the way Stryker red is a great color. But of course I'm biased to metallic red like colors...

Just a FYI these photos are mine. I posted a thread about them in the VOI12 section a while ago.

Thank you.

and that's why only StrykerRed is that complicated of a paint job. Other colors are great but not that complicated, process-wise.
