Headers

[V10 MOJO]

99 rt10, ive got the random tech hiflos and corsa cat abck, combo sounds great and its a beautiful thing not burning a broad's leg on the sills. anyway, headers; 1 3/4" recommended right? while i want performance increase im not wanting this thing much louder so would headers be a bad decision? if not, what/who is the best

Hey there;

I hear you on sound levels. Drive mine everyday and want to keep the neighbors relatively happy.

I also have the 3" Corsa and high flows combined with B&B 1 3/4s which Jason Heffner installed. Asked him to reassure me that the sound was manageable first and it is.

...until you nail it. At that point it gets a lot louder and sweet. The best of both worlds: mild until ferocious. Good luck.

PS headers make a noticeable power difference.
