Hood Repair !! - Need Advise

I had a similar chip scraped off of my hood about a year ago. There is a special type of fiberglass filler used on these hoods (JonB would know the specific type, I imagine) that my body shop had no problem in using. Make sure to use a bodyshop that is recommended either by your Viper tech or your local club. Also, be sure that they make the repair so that it is undetectable both inside and out.

I had an accident with my 1999 RT/10. The hood seems fine, but the ends of the hood, near the lights, are chipped by about 1/4 inch.
What is the best way to repair it?
What kind of filler needs to be used? How about paint? I was thinking of having them paint on the 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch of the tip of the hood?
Any feedback?
