Hopefully not as long as the Gen I/II shape!

See we are good people, I responded even though I'm an RT/10 owner!

Seriously, no one knows, I'm sure not even Daimler Chrysler knows. It's takes a lot of money and effort to remodel a car, so you can bet the new look will either be around for awhile or the cars production will stop entirely. I'd guess you can expect a GTS in 2005 or 2006 and a complete remodel in 2009. That's my two cent prediction. Actually, I will predict the following:

1. In 2003 the new RT arrives.
2. In 2006 the GTS version comes out.
3. In 2008 the Viper production is ended permanently.

Any other guesses out there?

2012 the new redesigned Viper hits the showroom.

2003-NEW GTS-R wins lemans
2004-GTS-R wins again
2005-Order a GTS Current owners rejoice as they receive their GTS Vouchers
2006-NEW GTS'S and RT/10'S reunite at VOI 10/11, GTS-R Continues to win at lemans
2007-GM finally realizes a 350 V-8 won't do so impliments a 427, regardless Viper is still king.
2008-BOB Lutz quits job at GM frustrated with corvette programe. Becomes President and impliments law that forbids the ceased production of Vipers. Frustrated, Mercedes sells Chrysler back and goes home, CRAIG SELLS SHELBY Z WITH 750,000 MILES, BUYS HIS 1ST VIPER.

2009-Viper wins overall at lemans, perfect world is attained.
