I was on the vette forum and I enjoy reading it too, when I came across this post..I live in FL and my Viper hasn't rusted yet...thought it was a funny post..do what you will of it..

It is possible the person was inadvertently referring to "corrosion" of the side sills.... or rust to the rest of the world.... We all know that earlier cars had a galvanic corrosion problem with some steel rivets in the aluminum side sills.


Or the person could have been completely clueless. Your call
