To make a long story short, i have had a terrible time in getting my windshield replaced in my GTS. After the first time of them coming out and pulling my cracked windshield to find out they didn't have the right one and left me with no windshield, to them coming out again and giving me a windhshield that was deeply scratched and then not hearing from them for over 2 weeks, i had it done locally by another shop. I paid cash for the windshield and didn't go through insurance.
The problem i am having now is that the windshield company that did the glass before wants a piece of the old windshield that was thrown out so that they can get credit for it and not charge my card.
Im so frustrated with them and even argued the point that they had my old windshield that they threw out and that they should have kept theirs from taking mine first. I am hoping that someone here has a piece of broken windshield that they can send me (preferrably the top piece with the rubber trim or cut out the diamond in the center at the bottom and i can get this nightmare over with.
Does anyone have a broken windshield laying around that they can send me a piece of?
