Please help with wheel ideas for a Yellow/Black GTS. I have the chrome ACR's now but don't like them all that much. Would love to run the 19" Purners but no tires sticky enough. I am hoping to run 18" Sport Cups on the street so any 18" wheel ideas would be greatly appreciated. Pics even more so.

Thanks,

Chad

Check out the new race/competition Wheels from HRE they use titamium bolts and are lighter weight tahn teh regular HRE wheels and available only in 18 and they can be coated with this cool matt blackish color.

I saw them on display when i was at HRE about 5 months ago. They look awesome.

Wait a few more weeks. I just had my ACR wheels chromed and NOW the centers are being BLACK CHROMED. It is going to look SAWEEEET. I am keeping the lip chrome. I should have them back within 2 weeks. I will post pics ASAP.

I was thinking about doing the ACR's in black chrome. Now, I can wait and see how they will look. The all-black is too much for me but I want to tie in the black stripe, so the black chrome seemed like a good option. I really like the M5 black chrome wheels.

I also really like the VR-1's in 18's which is where I want to stay..

Thanks,

Chad

watch out for the VR1s. The fitment is a little iffy. They rub the fender on my lowered '97, and Forgeline says they can't do anything about it. I'm running 345s on 19s, maybe 335s on 18s won't be a problem.

Do you think the wheel would rub even if it wasn't the Forgeline, because your car is lowered? Or do you think it is a Forgeline problem?

Thanks

I believe the Forgeline fronts are 11"s wide instead of the stock 10". That could be the culprit on a low car. That is also one of the things I liked about them, more front contact patch.
