I must have left the ignition on last night and now I can not get in the car. My spare key will not work on the door, the extra fob does nothing either. It would appear that the battery is dead, so I tried to jump the battery from the engine compartment, thinking that it would energize the doors and I could use my other fob, but it did not work. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Please help, I can already feel the symptoms of withdrawal coming on and if I can’t drive the car in the next several hours, who knows what will happen.

Sounds like you're in "sleep mode", which means you won't be able to use the fobs until you get into the car using the below procedures:

Use the key to unlock the door in the hidden location below the side bulge. (Don't worry, it's going to feel like you'll break the key if you turn any harder... just turn!)

Then.... use the key to turn the ignition, and that'll get it out of sleep mode.

Fobs will work as usual after that.

Try pushing in ******* the door near the handle when turning the key in the scallop. It's a little tricky at first, and always requires that you push in the door, but it is mechanical and it will work.

Thanks for the help. Pushing on the door as I turned the key was the trick. I was afraid of breaking off the key when I tried it before. I did have to jump the battery to get it started, thanks again
