MGW! George, you amaze me!

When a man makes a product that works...and works well, you usually will see the product remain the same for years, and all would be satisfied.

But George never rests! I couldn't imagine how his shift knob could get any better than the one I bought for my 2000 back in '99... but after a phone call to him, and a few days wait, to my surprise, a shorter shaft, an even MORE accurate designed black leather surround, and his always perfect workmanship arrives at my door!

**** ! I KNOW my '01 is going to gain around 20 horsepower as soon as I install this baby!

To answer both questions:

1) To George: LOVE IT!

2) To SapphGTS: Not better, different. It's George's other "rounder" creation

I had George's first gripper shifter in my second Viper (97) and loved it. When I sold that car, the shifter went with it.

I installed his First Strike shifter into my 00 to see how it compared. It's definitely better than the stock shifter but I missed the gripper.

In *MY* opinion, the gripper shifter is the way to go.
