Yesterday, just got my June MotorTrend subscription and on the cover is a beautiful red SRT.
The article is titled 500 500 500 and is very complimentary.
500 500 500 as in cubes, hp and torque. One more 500 could have been added with the watts of the stereo.
A few interesting facts that were made:
Estimated base price only 70,500
f\r weight distribution is 50/50
The chassis is 35% tortionally stiffer
The car is 40 pounds lighter the GEN II
I was very surprised on the estimated price, now if that's actually true where do I sign up.
Motortrend was very positive on the new SRT and struggled to come up with some negative comments. They were that there was no coupe in the plans, some did not want side pipes and more weight should have been trimmed off the new car.
I'm wanting one more each day.
