MY \'01 GTS!

Got my '01 Saphire/Silver Stripes GTS today! FINALLY!
Thanks to Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse and to Prashant Patel (Houston VCA President)and John Hennessey for giving me a hand putting everything together. That Twin Turbo is looking great, John - can't wait to see it run!
Trying to put those breakin miles on so I can drive like it was built for. See everyone at the next Houston VCA meeting for the Cart races and the Viper VS Houston PD Autocross!

Pictures! Where are the pictures!
How do you like the Sapphire now that you have it. It seems very dark in person. Do the Silver stripes bring more of the Blue out?

(104 degree temp!) I had to drive it 3 hrs home and it is filthy already. I am going to clean it up soon and post those pics along with the pics of my son's new Viper minicar he got from Santa! I hadn't seen the saphire with stripes in person before I bought it but had hopes it would bring out the blue. I was right. It was awesome when it came off the trailer. It was somewhat of a sad farewell to my '99 Black/cognac GTS

(which served me very well) but everyone present was in agreement that the '01 car was fantastic!We were at Hennessey Motorsports in Houston and all the techs were there along with Darth Vetter (unbelievable ZO6 Vette!) and Prashant Patel (Houston President) in a yellow 98 Lambo Diablo SV!

Jason,
My ACR is coming with stripes. I have seen pictures in various lighting but still don't have a good feel of how it actually looks. I have had two other Vipers a 97 Blue/White and a 00 Red/Silver both GTS's. Most of my sports cars have been bright colors so the Dark Blue will be a new concept to me.
I'm hoping it is stunning in person.
