I have a belltronics gtech i got from circuit city two years ago. I have tested it at the drag strip and found it to be within .5 tenths and 1-1.5 mph of my actual time slips after each run. So I reallt trust it from my experiences.

My C5 was a 2004 auto with 2.73 gears. I put on LS6 heads and a 224/224 cam as well as air intake..no cats...and a borla exhaust. On the dyno she put down 378 rwhp and 370 rwt.

my best ever on my gtech with her at the same location in over 100 runs was 0-60 in 4.3 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 12.68 at 112 mph. ( at the actual drag strip I ran a 12.80 at 110.83 with this set up)...

Well my Viper has always felt much faster than my C5..So tonight i decided to go try out my 428 rwhp and 473 rwt snake. she has..KN's...smooth tubes...no cats....

My first run i let off early for a animal i saw up ahead. to my Surprise i turned a 12.9 at 112 mph ( the fastest mph I had ever turned in the modded c5)

My second run I spun pretty badly in second gear and pulled a 12.8 at 115 mph..( I was pretty happy with this mph and figured she was topped out)

Third run I again spun 1st and 2nd pretty bad but this time shifted into 3rd in 4th and 5500 rpm's vrs 5800. Looked at the gtech and i had pulled a 12.77 at 116 mph. ( dang 116 mph is really making me smile)

I decide to give it one more go...I spin thetires a lil bit to warm em up and try to launch at 2000 rpm's..Big mistake. I spin badly through first gear...but shift to 2nd..third and fourth all around 5400 rpm's. Despite thinking i stayed in first gear spinning for what seemed an eternity. I pull a 12.6 at 117.3 mph.

117 mph!!!!!!!! I know thats small potatoes. but coming from a supercharged v6 camaro that trapped 97 mph and then a c5 that trapped 112 mph..117 seems pretty crazy..

I was getting better each run and went back and looked at my 0-60 mph times. They were all in the 4.6-5.0 range. Being that stock vipers can hit 4.0-4.2 0-60 mph, I think theirs still a lot left on the table in ET...And a lot more mph to if I dont hot lap it four times in a row.

But for now Im just happy that my Viper is trapping 5 mph higher than my H/C C5 at the same area with the same tool...

Im going out again this weekend and my goal will be a 11.9 at 120 mph with more practice
