Thanks to some bug fixing by Tony Rickard, the New Classifieds are up and running. If you have not placed you ad inthe new classifieds located at:
http://vca1.viperclub.org/classifieds
there is no better time than now.
There are many new features, but most importantly, you will have the ability to enter and edit your own ads! (Note, all ads will still be reviewed prior to posting) This will make it extremely easy for you to keep your ad updated, you can even add your own pictures if you like, and there is even an "Auto notify Agent" that will inform you when new ads are posted.
Another feature particularly useful for dealer ads is the ability to list a car in both the dealer category, and the model/year category. Since the new classifieds are searchable, this is a big plus.
You'll NEED TO REREGISTER (even if registered for the forums, as the classifieds is a completely separate system) at your earliest convenience by doing the following:
1) Click the "Register for an account" link (below the search boxes, to the right)
2) Follow the directions by entering a user name and password (you are selecting these, so write them down, or TRY to use the same one you have for the Forums to make it easier to remember).
It is possible, but not likely that someone has used your UBB registration name, we are sorry if that has happened, but that is out of our control. Another note on user names: The new classifeds system will not allow "spaces" in the user name, this is one of the reasons a separate username for the system is required.
3) Once registered, you can immediately place an ad.
