New ebay scam

Received this email from a motorcycle buddy about a new ebay scam that I've never heard of. Just thought I'd give you guys a head's up on this new scam:


Here's the latest.
I thought I'd send this to everybody I know who might be buying stuff on
EBAY.
This happened to ME, your old pal, Charlie.
I sold a motorcycle on Ebay.
Paid for, picked up...no problemo.
Then I get a letter from the SECOND HIGHEST bidder, who is REALLY PISSED
because he wants his money back.
HUH?
It seems that somebody sent this guy a bogus "Second Chance Bid" form, and
he sent money thinking he was getting the bike because the winner bailed
out.
The scammer was at <[email protected]>
So...be careful if you lose an auction and get a second chance offer.

actually an old scam. i wasnt the high bidder on an item quite some time ago. If i remember right, i had something like 4-6 SECOND CHANCE OFFERS! each one of them claiming to be the "seller". it was dispicable.

I have recieved many SECOND CHANCE OFFERS. I never respond back.
