Okay, so please excuse me for the what could seem like a stupid or very novice question, I just want to be sure. As I've said I'm located in Northern NJ and I'm looking for a good, safe place to get my oil changed. Yes, I know I could probably do it myself, but right now it's not possible. So, the question is where would you recommend getting the oil changed? Should I just go to a Dodge dealership? I'd rather avoid places like STS which uses a lift (although I have had my Subaru STi oil changed there, as I know the mechanics and they are great and very careful not to damage the car.) Of course the Dodge dealership will have a lift. There is a place down the road which doesn't use a lift (I think it's a quaker state place, I would however bring my own Mobil 1 Synthetic oil).

Also what do you recommend as far as the schedule of miles when getting my oil changed. The car will be driven (in other when I drive it...I will be DRIVING it) and miles will not accumalate outside of pleasure driving. I may autocross it here and there.

The car also has 23K miles, when should I consider doing plugs and wires? I know the manual says at 30K, but is this overkill? Could I do it later?

Is there anything else I should be aware of outside the normal maitenance?

Again sorry for all the questions.

When you close the hood put your hand OVER the hinge connection points (near the vents, look underneath). If you close from the front you might flex/crack the hood.
