Paxton coming - ATI damper with keyway or not?

Have a Paxton kit coming. Was gonna put on an ATI damper. ATI tells me they have two versions, one with a keyway that'll slide over the pin, and one without the keyway that I could drill like I would the factory one. Thoughts?

if the crank is OUT of the car, KEY IT.

if not, you really dont have a choice but to PIN it
