Had many similar experiences. The day I got my Viper I pulled up beside a beautiful Ferrari Modena. I was waving at him to get his attention to just say "Hey buddy, beautiful car!"...but he wouldn't even look at me. I think you're right, don't want to possibly get into a race they aren't sure they'll win. I believe it's a small ***** issue.

That is the case for 99 out of a 100 Ferrari owners anyway. The 1 in 100 are great. I had a blast roaring along with one on the Sea to Sky Highway up here. It was probably the most fun drive of my life. The road runs between Vancouver and Whistler Ski mountain and is pretty intense at high speeds. We were pretty much dead matched. He had a slight edge in the corners and I had a slight edge on the straights. A lot of fun and we both waved to each other goodbye at the end. That's the way Ferrari owners should be!
