...at a local cruise. It had a V10 emblem on the side ahead of the doors, and some sort of white Viper windshield decal. It was for sale(!), but I didn't go hunt him down. I'll take a better look if I see it again. I know there is/was a company making those cars.:)

I do not think this is a double venom car. this particular car was at the CEMA (chrysler employee motorsports assoc.) either two or three years ago and was for sale at the time also. I have also spotted the car cruizing woodward several times this summer.

Mike is correct. The owner said he had assembled it. It was there this year in color and last year in primer.

The wheels on that car remind me of one I saw being finished up just down the road, but that was like 6yrs ago (I think).

There's also an FE big block powered Cobra with Webers regularly at the same cruise for $29,500. ERA I think.

Hans --

His window sticker says that he is asking $50,000.

$50,000 for a lightweight kit car with a viper engine? Heck, why not spend the $50k on the real deal? For $50K, you can get a really nice viper and it won't take forever to sell as it could selling the above kit car for $50k.
