The search function is not working well.

Here’s an example of a post made in the last week:

http://vca2.viperclub.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB14&Number=290998

The thread was started by MHQC. His first post has the word “amazing” in it. Put “amazing” in the search and the post shows up as a result.

In a followup post by MHQC later in the thread he uses the word “indicates”. Enter “indicates” in the search and you won’t find this post.

Ken H. used the word “prepainted” in his response post. Enter the word “prepainted” into the search and it turned up “no matches”

Looks like the search function is only looking at words in the initial post in a thread.

Also, if you do a search on posts by "USER" it only looks for the post "USER" started, not any posts that were contributed to a thread by "USER".

This is all true; however, its an update that Tony made. I prefer it to search all posts. I'll coordinate with Tony and see about putting it back the way it was.

Thx Mï¢håêl,

being able to search all the posts and not just the first post in a thread would be the most complete method.
