I really like performance and the stock Vipers appearance. I have seen several Vipers set-up for the track that look like track cars and would not be suitable (to loud, hard to idle, etc. ) for a street car. What is a good compromise? If you are in S. CA. give Dan Cragin a call to see when he has time to show you his business man's Special. Today Chris and Dan showed me a project they have been working for a few months. It is a very nice compromise between a track car and daily driver. This Viper looks stock under the hood except for headers and the exterior except for the exhaust tip. The engine produces pretty strong HP (I am sure Dan will post the numbers when the tuning is finished) numbers and has cooling systems in place to deal with the extra heat. Heavy duty half shafts, brake upgrade, many subtle suspension enhancements, safety features (Roll Bar, Halon system for the engine, driver and passenger). Ask Dan/Chris to put the car on the rack to see all the trick high quality components and custom fabricated items. Then put the car on the ground and check out the engine detail, and safety features. If you want a subtle street/track rocket this is it. Every aspect is like a work of art. Great Job! Congratulations to Dan, Chris, Andy, EMI and their other fabricators.
