Are you certain the noise is coming from the rockers as opposed to the fuel injectors which typically make a light but noticable clacking noise?

We are an authorized T&D dealer and install them quite often. They really aren't that audible. If you have too much noticeable sound difference AFTER installing them, you may need to go back and check your valve lash. If you installed the shims provided with the set, you can inspect the inside of the valve covers to see if they are making contact with them.

Make sure you have removed the oil splash baffles from the inside of the valve covers. To adjust them I usually adjust to zero lash and then give it a 1/2 turn
