Tax advice...Gas Guzzler tax on the Viper

Check with your tax advisor, but from what I know it is not deductible. I believe only the VLF is deductible. What I did was call the DMV and asked them what part I can deduct on my taxes. They have all of that stuff in their database.

In the instructions for line 7, it says "based on value" and "charged on a yearly basis", so presumably neither could fall under that section (unless maybe you buy a new one each year

. As for line 8, I don't know, it's a big catchall and I'd like to get a list of what would fall under it (as opposed to the instructions which say "and deductible tax not listed on line 5, 6, or 7," which provides little guidance).
