Not sure how many of you are aware that this Summer will launch the first gathering of the brood of SRT brethren. Whether one is into mighty 4 cylinder ,intercooled, forced air front drivers, or mighty Ram haulers with 500 coiled Snakepower, the SRT Nationals is open to the entire family of DC Power Mongers this July 19-22 at the home of the Sports Car Club of America --- Topeka, Kansas. The Heartland Park Race Track is known for it's record breaking dragstrip, and the road course has just been named the recipient of the SCCA National Championships. Coupled with the new paving to host the Solo II National Championship Event ( autocrossing ) , this venue has it for all kinds of racing gearheads. With SRT there in full force , drivers will have opportunities for track experiences at the strip, on the road course, and at the autocross arena. Vendors, Sponsors, Pro-drivers ,and open invitations to generation past Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth hotrods, wiil make this an enormous party you will not want to miss. Whether you show up in your SRT8 Charger , your Viper, or your SRT4, this will be a population of Petrolheads ( Jolly Old England's term for car fanatics ) like is seldom seen. Check out the website and start making plans,as there is a plethora of exciting things to do, and partake of. There will be more postings on this, but this will be the first full meeting of the SRT faithful, and it will be a revival meeting to the religion of Speed unlike many have seen.
