Under drive pulley test -25%

Its me again with yet another dyno test, the candidate this time is an under drive pulley. This is an item I purchased from Dave Schotz several months ago. It is aluminum, and has 25% under drive over factory.

The gains were very noticeable, peak 5 hp gain and 6-7 hp from 5500rpm on up. It is a bit less than I had hoped for but 5 hp at the wheels is still gained power.

Perhaps the 50% would be considerably more power, but I don't think its ideal for a street car.

I dont know if Dave S. has any left, and he would be the guy to ask on price. I dont remember the exact amount it was, but it was cheaper than $200.00.

Thanks for the report. I'm having a crank pulley installed along with all my other motor work.

Good to know it is money well spent.
