I bought tickets for the V0I X and reserved my Hotel room yesterday. Map Quest says it's only 5,200mi. both ways. With buying my Alberta gas in the US for only $4,60 gl. I figure I'll be saving the extra $2.40 we Canadians pay for our our gas. Of course that means I'll have to do all my driving in the US - to bad Cda Gov. - the US gov will be getting all my fuel tax money!
I'm figuring to take a few stops along the way to 'holiday' and see the sights. I'll probably leave here Fri afternoon and arrive in Detroit on Wed before lunch. Anyone else going to drive?
When I bought my car in Ohio, it took me 2 days to drive the 3,000+ mi. to the Okanagan,BC/US border. With the wife I drive pretty mellow.
