That is a cool car. The engine has no power adders. Was tested by Car and Driver in Sept 2002 issue. List price in mag was $146,804. Listed 750hp at 5600 and 800lb/ft at 4300. It was stroked to 9.0 litres. Obviously the ebay car is way too much. I haven't seen Apex mentioned on this site lateley but I would call Apex directly instead of buy that one.

car has sure moved around quite a bit. It was in St Louis a few months ago and Kali before that.

I haven't seen or heard anything about Apex in a LONG time!
That's alot of dough for that kind of power. It should probably have about 2000hp for that price.

Nathan Rose was trying to sell it back about a year ago the last I heard , his price was $76k, but that didnt include the Sony Playstation:)

The original owner was selling that car around 2 years ago for around 80-85K, there is just a little mark-up in that E-Bay price!

Gotta love that n/a power though.
I agree. Twin Turbos and superchargers make more power but they have to be crammed into the engine bay and have more parts that can fail. I would like to see some company pick up where Apex left off.
