We've been asked to post a short update on the Viper Competition Coupe [VCC] program, especially for those applicants who probably are on pins & needles about whether they have been selected.

The list of applicants and their racing plans is being reviewed in order to make the selections as soon as possible after the first of the new year.

Other news: It seems likely that the VCC will be built in series, such as Series 1, Series 2, Series 3 and so on, without regard to a conventional "model year." Because these are pure-bred race cars not legal to be driven on the public roads, they won't have a vehicle identification number [VIN] per se, but some form of series ID. For discussion example only, the ID might be something like "CC-100-1," "CC-100-2," and so on, where Series 1 cars are "CC-100" and Series 2 cars "CC-200."

Again, just a talking point right now. No final ID scheme has been decided upon.

That's the latest. As always, we're happy to answer any questions we can.

Happy Holidaze to one and all,
// DCR SENDS //
