FRIDAY TEST & TUNE: Please call the track for the Friday reservations & info. 661-256-2471 You must have a roll bar/roll cage, fire suppressions system & fire extinguisher

Is the roll bar requirement for all cars? Is this a new ViperDays rule? Or is that just for test and tune day?

Sounds like only the Test & Tune on Friday. According to the above post, Unless your driving a new SRT. But you better clear it with Skip, or Tracy. Drop them a line i am sure that someone will get back to you. Which part Viper Days are you doing? Look to their web site for a complete list of rules & regulations.

Vic,

The Friday test and tune is run by the track instead of Viperdays. You should call them for details (661-256-2471)

As far as the rest of the weekend goes, Frank is right, check the 2004 rules and regulations on the website, but I believe the requirements are essentially the same as last year.

Thanks, Frank, thanks Sonny.

I thought that requirement was kinda odd, cause we run out there at WS with various clubs, and a roll bar has not been a requirement as of yet. But it goes without saying that its a great idea, and I am looking for one.

Hey, Joe. Yep, I'll be there after Eric Messley gets my Penskes put on, with some neg camber to boot. Maybe I'll try some Brakeman 3s to hold me over 'till I can embezzle the money for the Stop Techs.
I was out there a few days ago, in stock trim, ('cept for the Corsas and smoothies), and turned consistent 1:38s, and a few 1:37s, (w/my friend in the car). I wasn't pushing all that hard, and it didn't feel fast to me, not like it did before. Its getting easier. Just wish I had more time to practice.

And you have turned into a contender! Kudos to you, I knew you could do it!
