That's based on 15,000miles/yr, too. Most V's see a fraction of that. One may conclude from this that the value would likely be higher as most Vipers would have about half that mileage or less.

As the owner of a car rental company depreciation is my life. I ran New Beetles for years and than replaced them with the coopers when they came out. On some occasions I sold the cars for more money than I paid almost 10 months later. However I do not feel the 06's retain their value as those cars have in the past.
Nonetheless, its nice to see the viper #2. Anyone want to buy my low mileage 03 for 72g?

Actually, it seems a little low: If your 2003 sold new for $75K, then in 2008 it would be worth only $39,375.00 at 52.5% My guess is that in 2008 you will still be lucky to find one even in the high $40's - unless it really does have 75,000 miles. And even in that case it is still very unlikely to be in the $30's. Let's face it, very few Vipers with a non-salvage title have ever sold for less than 52% of their original value no matter what year they are.

Agreed. Vipers no matter how fast or slow they drop, they never seem to go for lower than 1/2 of the original price. Acutally I do not recall ever seeing this ever happen unless is was a salvaged car of course.
