Actually, it seems a little low: If your 2003 sold new for $75K, then in 2008 it would be worth only $39,375.00 at 52.5% My guess is that in 2008 you will still be lucky to find one even in the high $40's - unless it really does have 75,000 miles. And even in that case it is still very unlikely to be in the $30's. Let's face it, very few Vipers with a non-salvage title have ever sold for less than 52% of their original value no matter what year they are.As the owner of a car rental company depreciation is my life. I ran New Beetles for years and than replaced them with the coopers when they came out. On some occasions I sold the cars for more money than I paid almost 10 months later. However I do not feel the 06's retain their value as those cars have in the past.
