what are the specs on a venom 1000R?

hey guys, i just wanted to find out what the specs were on an 01 viper venom with the [******] 1000R package. i ran into a guy that had a red rt/10 on ga 400 that had a venom 1000r sticker as well as a nitrous express sticker. i beat him, but only by about 6 cars to 140 so its a damn quick car for sure. all he told me was its a 515 stroker with a 200 shot NX. what hp numbers do these cars put down usually on gas? my friends and i are saying 750rwhp and 900tq. can anyone verify the numbers for me? thanks a bunch.

edit: i dont know what the [******] means, i didnt say a curse word or anything? maybe its the bad guys name i mentioned?

Hope that helped and congrads on the pull, but with a claim of low 9's to an 8.93 quater time for that package... the pull should have been the other way around. Try running Gary or chad sometime, take care.....

the car didnt sound like it was a turbo to me... the tag said '9secvpr' though. and i dunno about the pull the other way, my bike does 145 traps and we didnt get to but about 140 so... he would have beat me from a stop, im sure of it. still learning how to launch the new bike.

what do you figure hp wise? 850?

The claimed power output depending on your year model is anywhere from 800-1000 rhp 900-1100 rwt with a 2.25 0-60 depending on a Nos shot or not. How many are cars are produced or actually put down these #'s is beyond me. Hands down get the Real Deal at Heffners. I'd more then bet a properly tuned Heffner 1000TT would nab a H#nn#ss#y 1000TT with Nos anyday. So we'll see....

Ask the manufacturer directly, but the 1000R and the 1000TT are very different packages. Here is a car with the 1000TT kit (make sure your sitting down, cause this car is BADD A$$)

You would have heard the TTs that's for sure.

So maybe it was a 750 na, with a nice shot of NOS on top. Not sure.

But even if it says 1000R from that particular tuner, it might be only making 500rwhp.

If your bike is close to stock, you would not have won, certainly by 6 car lengths to 140. Unless you started from a dead stop, which by 140 he would have been reeling you in like a 8lb bass on 20lb test!

and guys, i know garys car is fast. but gary doesnt live near me. this viper lives off the same exit i do, and its fast. i wish i would see him around again.

and my bike has a slip on only, but i trapped 145 at commerce.

Hey, It was me.... I was running all motor. No gas in the tanks. I had just picked up the car from McIntosh - they installed the new MOPAR Nitrous pressure gauge (nice gauge). Gauge read ZERO I thought it was not installed right, but truth was I had two empty bottles sitting in the trunk. I hate to make excuses, but it is true...I run the 300 pills. On, the gas, I think I would have done better!

Honestly, I was happy I did that well on just motor...3rd gear was a dead heat!

I dyno 650 at the wheels on motor.....

awsome! i was hoping that you were on the site, your car is awsome man. me and my friends have been wondering what you put down for a while. i think on the 300 shot, you would beat me. we should do it again sometime and film it for fun its always fun to lose on a bike, that means that youve found a fast car.

i dunno, my bike will have 220rwhp after the nitrous and custom map. im not going to go to some stupid speed like 180 or 200 or anything, but im definately game for a 60-160 roll, and im even more game for a dig race. i dont think hes going to 'own' anything. he knows that my bike is fast. i was pulling harder as we kept going too. there was just too much traffic. id really rather he run what he said he was running after i talked to him, which was 200 shot.

wowowo....before this all gets out of hand. I am OUT of the set up racing business. I dont want to own anyone, or be owned for that matter. The beauty of what I do is that when I am out on the road, it is literally run what you brung. If you are ready to race great. The thing about that night was that I was not ready to race. I did think that I was on the nitrous. I knew something was wrong, but when I was balls out on the highway, I was paying attention to the road. Oh, and I do run the 300 pills(as stated above) it gives me about 200 RWHP.

I swear on my son..I had no nitrous in the car at all. I thought I did, but I was wrong. And, finally, the first thing I asked you when we got to the light was if your bike was stock...that is because I have pulled on other 1000,s and busas. I was surprised at the outcome. Anyway, lets please not turn this into a bike VS car thing. It was a fun run... you won. Congrats. If we meet again, hopefully I won't have any excuses. Happy motoring and see you out on 400 someday!

na, not trying to be all mad or anything. i enjoy running fast cars! your car is definately a monster. nitrous or no nitrous, all racing is fun to me. id still love to do it, ive never really raced a viper that could hang much less get it on film. but oh well, thats cool man. maybe we will meet again, both with gas
