What would I expect to pay for...........

I've been looking around for a '96 GTS and am somewhat confused by the wide range in prices. Even among stock cars with no or a minimal amount of mods, there seems to be a wide range in price, anywhere from low 30's to upper 40s. What should I realistically expect to pay for a stock (or close to stock) car with less than 30K? And yes, I'm still looking : )
