Hello, posted this in the Southern Califorina Forum, but thought you guys might also know of some good places to go

Hello, Got a real good friend of mine flying into LAX 3/23, to 4/6th
Hes a big car fan and just wondered if there is anything on in the local area (shows etc) which might be of interest?

Years ago he and I drove from New York to LA, that was a great Vacation. If any of you guys are around I'm sure he would love to make contact Is there any Drag racing on or NASCAR? Flat track bike racing? Any good Car / Bike bars worth going to? Not really interested in the Disney / Universal stuff

He's then thinking of cruising up towards Northern California?

Can you visit JAY leno's garages? Are they open to the public (visitor days)?

I think I seem to remember somewhere near the Carmel area in the hills there was an old fashioned biker bar / or general store / Garage? Anyone know the name of the place, or what road its on?

What about Race Tracks? Is Willow springs or Button Willow the same place? Are they worth going to even if your not likely to be racing?
