question has been asked so i figured i should answer it.

really it just kind of happened. i was a couple of hours away from finalizing
a deal with BILL PEMBERTON from WOODHOUSE DODGE on a comm ed srt, who by the way
sold me my 04 silver srt. i thought i would check the VCA classifieds just to
see what was being sold. i noticed there were only 3 2002 rt's for sale and when i checked it the first car that came up was a 2002 rt graphite with a
inservice date of jan 5, 2005 w/1600 miles on it.(I DID NOT BUY THAT CAR) you
can pm me if you want to know why if you think you might buy it. anyhow a friend
of mine on this site who has a 02 rt yellow said he saw a 02 graphite on ebay.
I AM NOT ONE WHO WOULD BUY A CAR ON EBAY. i watched the auction as it went to
52k and did not meet reserve. i emailed the guy to get info on the car. THE CAR
TURNED OUT TO BE A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF. the owner was given it to him from his
wife for xmas of dec 2001. he never really got into the whole viper thing and
never joined the VCA, which if he did i dont think i would have got the price
i did. he is a collector of cars and motorcycle's. i found him at a time when
he was selling some to buy some, GOOD TIMING. the car has 899 miles on it and
has not been driven at all for 2 years. he keeps his cars and bikes on battery
tenders and also every couple of months will start them. the garage is climate
controlled. the man has the means to really have what ever he wants, so selling
the viper would have come much sooner had it not been a gift from his wife. i
really just lucked out on this car and after doing all the checking on it with
the results there was no way i was not going to buy that car, i am now the owner
signed sealed and soon to be delivered. i just spoke with the transport company
and they are 70 miles away which now should only be about 20 miles, i'm sitting
here waiting for them to call. the driver picking up my car owns a 2000 black/
silver stripped gts with 1300 miles on it and will be going over the car before
loading it. (sorry got off track there)

MY FIRST VIPER WAS A 2002 RT/10 GRAPHITE WHICH I LOVED AND DID DRIVE. i was getting
close to 10,000 miles and thought i better sell it before 10k and start dropping
in value. remember it was my first viper and i had alot to learn. in hine sight
i would not have sold it because of the miles, the year and color was rare enough
to keep the value in it. SOOOOOOOO i almost feel like i'm getting a second chance
to not make the same mistake. that being said i do plan to keep this car for a
long long time. to keep the wife happy when i told her about this i said time
for her to get a toy as well and i bought her the new boat she always wanted 2 days
ago.

WOULD I BUY A SRT/10 AGAIN? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT WOULD BE NOT WOULD
BUT WHEN.

I DONT FEEL AS IF I'M STEPPING BACKWARD OR FORWARD IN GOING FROM A SRT BACK TO
THE RT/10. all vipers no matter what year have their plus and minuses. the srt
is a much better car in certain area's but i feel its not hard to get the rt or
the gts to the same level, just more money and fun doing it. :2tu:

ALL AND ALL I LOVE EVERY VIPER EVER MADE, WELL MOST,LOL :D

hope this answers the questions as this is just MHO and take on the cars.

phone should be ringing any minute, WOOOOOHOOOOOO, i need a beer :headbang:

Please no longer refer to yourself as TOM. You must now be affectionately known as the "VIPER RECYCLER."

You also forgot to mention this all started when I sent you that ebay link for the other car a few months ago.

I predict you will keep this one 24 months. Go on...prove me wrong.
