I have a 1992 (early 93) Viper and the softtop flew off and broke.

Can I purchase a gen 2 softtop and somehow swap parts to make it fit? Or do I need a 94-95 softop?

Appreciate any help! Thanks.

What part broke? I have a Gen I side arm.

The Gen II top will fit, but it will have a small gap where the windows meet the side of the top. Front latches will also have to be switched out.

I have the three cross supports if that is what you need. Had purchased them as spares when a friend's top got damaged. Just found them in my garage.

Gen I and Gen II softtops differ.

Gen I 1992 and early 1993 have short front pins and use slide in side curtains

Later Gen I tops have longer front pins than the early tops and use slide in curtains

Gen II RT/10s have roll up glass windows

SHort answer is NO, G2 wont fit a 92. Nor will a 94-95-96 due to reasons correctly cited below by V#53

Can it be adapted to fit by swapping and fabricating front pins ? Probably....but it wont likely be a tight fit
