Hello,

The paint at the corner point where the A-pillar and the top of the windshield meets has worn through to the primer (white?) on my RT/10 as a result of the using a hard top over the years. The defect is a little smaller than a quarter on each side (drivers and passenger sides), but since it’s white under the flat black topcoat it stands out like a sore thumb.

I’m considering getting this fixed, but I was wondering what I might be getting to? Can something like this be spot painted or am I better off painting the entire windshield surround? If painting the entire surround is the way to go, will I run into part issues? I assume that a full paint would require the windshield to be removed and so on. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Cheers, Greg
