Hey ViperCaptain, you're in Oregon, warmer than me by a couple degrees (Vancouver, Canada). I have two words of advice for you in winter on sunny days...

I used that stuff last winter and it left yellow pit marks in the white stripes on my rear bumper. Needless to say I won't be using it this year.

As far as storage goes, I have a car capsule and I love it! The base mat provides a good moisture barrier and the fan provides constant air circulation around the car.
