Wondering how the intake to head port match is..

I haven't had an intake off of a Viper yet. I'm wondering if the OEM match on my 2002 is pretty good, or is the head port a little bigger than the intake port it mates up to.

Or?

At least on a '96 GTS, the intake ports are larger than the head ports at the interface. Some quick work with a carbide bit........
