97 Blue and White GTS Values
Anyone been following GTS values lately? KBB values seem to be going up since the last time I checked. Is 45k a fair price for a mint 97 B&W GTS with 21k miles nowadays? I drove an SL600 and am hooked. Time to get rid of one of the Vipers. Anyone looking for a clean GTS?- DChan415

San Francisco = NOT Viper friendly
Its not so bad... I used to park my Viper on the street all the time. Got used to it. Parking spaces here cost more than some of the houses out in the mid west.- DChan415

Coolant boiling in overflow
A bad radiator cap will also cause the coolant to boil prematurely.- DChan415

Temp gauge problem
Unplug the sensor, if the coolant temp goes all the way down, replace the sensor. Coolant Temp Sensor, Part # 4848110, $50. 7/8" Socket to remove 4 wire sensor under upper coolant neck.- DChan415

I lived in North Beach when I first got my viper. I used to park it on the street alot. It was funny hearing people talk about the car as they walked by. What can be used to clean carbon build up in cylinders?
Forget the chemicals, water works better than anything else I've tried. If you take a spray bottle and spray water into the intake while holding the RPMs at 2000, the water will soften up carbon deposits, then you take it on a good freeway run and burn everything off. Tool for Brake pads
Needle nose pliers will only work if the piston turns pretty freely. If your car isn't driven much like most Vipers, the pistons might be pretty hard to turn.
