Anyone been following GTS values lately? KBB values seem to be going up since the last time I checked. Is 45k a fair price for a mint 97 B&W GTS with 21k miles nowadays?
I drove an SL600 and am hooked. Time to get rid of one of the Vipers. Anyone looking for a clean GTS?
Its not so bad... I used to park my Viper on the street all the time. Got used to it.
Parking spaces here cost more than some of the houses out in the mid west.
Unplug the sensor, if the coolant temp goes all the way down, replace the sensor.
Coolant Temp Sensor, Part # 4848110, $50.
7/8" Socket to remove 4 wire sensor under upper coolant neck.
I lived in North Beach when I first got my viper. I used to park it on the street alot. It was funny hearing people talk about the car as they walked by. I had to drive through downtown everyday to get to work. It wasnt too bad, the roads arent great but you just slow down a little. The...
Forget the chemicals, water works better than anything else I've tried. If you take a spray bottle and spray water into the intake while holding the RPMs at 2000, the water will soften up carbon deposits, then you take it on a good freeway run and burn everything off. This also burns carbon...
ToolWarehouse.net is great! I've been buying from them for a while now too. Never had any problems. Never found anyplace cheaper. Always FAST delivery. Free shipping and no tax. Sometimes they didn't have tools in stock though. When they didn't they shipped out as soon as they had stock...
Needle nose pliers will only work if the piston turns pretty freely. If your car isn't driven much like most Vipers, the pistons might be pretty hard to turn. Most universal brake caliper tools don't have the correct size adaptor for the Viper's caliper piston either since the Viper has a...
The 9011 bulb is NOT the same as a 9005. My 96 GTS takes the 9011 high beam bulb and the only place I could find the bulb was at Dodge. I think they were $98 each. Part number 00154805.

Its amazing how good paint can look after a good polish. Its a delicate and time consuming job but its worth it.
My rear brake pistons are hard as hell to turn back in too. The brake tool in your link is the one that will keep pressure on the piston while turning it back in. I have two sets of those, Snap-On and OTC, and neither of them had the right attachment for the Viper rear brakes. I had to make...
I wouldnt run 90 percent water on a street car period. The coolant not only lowers the freezing point, but it raises the boiling point as well. For racing, a water/water wetter mix has worked great though. Its mandatory for 2 wheel track days too.
