Floor mat cleaning. ?Where?

I would like to know if someone has had experience in cleaning dirty floor mats. Are they easy to clean at home, or should I bring them somewhere to get clean. If so, any suggestions? I have tan interior.

i have had great results by using a product called Tough Stuff. If comes in either a spray can or pump-type sprayer. Vacuum, then spray with product. Then brush, or towel the area strongly. I sometimes even help dry the area with my shop vac. Works for me.
