I have a sick pic of the Vette on HRE wheels, but don't know how to load it.

Well the GTS-R has the same HP as the vette, of course less weight. The factory gen5 has 200 HP more than the GTS-R race car, so it might be more accurate to have the vette and GTS-R in the gen5's rear view. LoL.

The interior looks too busy in that pic. I like the look of the C7, but I still don't know about that interior.

I agree: this is what it looks like when you're about to get lapped...
this or the tree hasn't turned green as the Corvette needs a head start or nervous Corvette driver got a red light. Otherwise, nice picture!

And it looks like the Vette is on Autopilot...no driver in sight. Maybe he bailed out when he saw the Vipers on his tail.

The interiors not up to par with the viper but OK to me. But that darn steering wheel.

Why can't GM ever for its life put a steering wheel worthy of being in a vette on that car?????????

I hate it. There is no way I'm trading my C6 (or anything) to sit in one of those. The new Viper, I like a lot, but 3 grand for a set of tires is more than I want to spend a few times a year after 120+ grand buying the car.

That's for the Corsas. The Michelin Pilot Sport Cups fit, are about half the price, and are better tires. So problem solved, no more excuses. Time to go buy a Gen V, lol.

The real shortcoming are the street tires. It's about $2k for P Zeros, about the same as the Michellin Pilot PS2s, which aren't any better. I hope they come out with Pilot Super Sports in Gen V size, that's the tire I want.

So it's cool to go ahead and get a gen V, and run 345/30-19 on the rear? .....I know the rim dimension is the same, but it's just the idea of it that bugs me. ........also the 120+ grand bugs me. I am just gonna slum-it in my gen III and C6. :(

Apparently the 345s are fine, I've talked with several about it. When my Corsas wear out, I'm going with the Sport Cups. I bought a second set of wheels to run street tires on as well. The Corsas and Cups wear out in no time.

I drove a C6 Z06 the other day, I was blown away. Amazing performance. Much respect for the Corvette engineering team.

The new Vette is a bargain car. The steering wheel is un inspiring. The rear view mirror is facing the wrong way obviously.

Just fun advertising and friendly competition. We all know the snake would eat that C7 for breakfast.
Kudos to GM for being bold on their new design. I personally like the new look and for the same amount of $$ than a Gen V GTS, you could buy a brand new C7 and a used Gen IV ACR. The more I think about this, the more I am having issues with spending $130K for a GTS.

Check the GPS. He's going pretty fast for being in a downtown city situation. Let alone not having his hands on the wheel! Are all Vette drivers this irresponsible? :drive:
