Black GTS for sale near me in Dulles VA. +$150,000 ADM

I "instant chatted" the dealer "highest offer gets it!" - yeah, you don't get it, buddy.

Awesome job, SRT. My frustration grows.

Scam. The friends and family price which I just got on a new Charger recently was about 800.00 off MSRP or off the much better price I paid for it. 285k will get you a new Lambo.........

Dealers are independently owned and operated, and as far as pricing goes, can charge whatever they feel like because the pricing from SRT is a suggested price. Does anyone actually think a buyer is going to walk in there and plop down nearly $300K for a Viper?

And SRT could not allocate them future vehicles. Which, they should do.

Gives SRT and ther terrible dealers like this a bad name.

This doesn't happen with many other high end brands. Shows they are just still Dodge dealers.

I'm pretty sure Federal law prevents Chrysler from being able to penalize them for charging above MSRP. The dealership pays for the vehicle and thus owns it. Chrysler has no more say in what price the dealership charges (higher or lower), but they can incentivize them with bonuses and rebates.

Chrysler used to try and raise the bar on dealerships by giving them 5-star status, not sure whatever happened to that program.

An example of how powerful the dealerships are can be witnessed in Tesla Motor's fight to sell cars without using dealerships.

Chrysler may not but the people in the community can. Best to out them on Internet and social media so it hurts them for sales of their other Cars on their lot. There needs to be ramifications for selfish actions like this. Personally I would like to see them go out of business and be broke, but is not up to me. Dealer is in their own world.

You know they are going to use that profit to upgrade the dealership so that higher educated buyer will have a better experience.

Koons Dodge in Tysons Corner had a 2013 listed on the internet at $134,990. I was coming back from cars and coffee so I decided I would take a look at the car in person, having never seen it before. Beautiful car and I will own one in the near future. However, when I sat down with one of the managers to talk some numbers and payments, the price mysteriously jumped $50,000 to $184,990. I told them that it is their dealership to run the way they want to but there is NO WAY I'm paying over MSRP for any car. I'll just wait for the hype to die down or find a low mileage used one.

The SRT dealer closest to me--call them Dealer "C"--already sold one Viper, I never saw it and don't know the specs, and now has two GTSs on the floor, one LE and one white with black stripes, and they're asking only $10k juice. They claim to have a Stryker Red coming in. I sure hope so.

A hundred miles away from me is Dealer "H" who says they have eight allocations (they told me Dealer C couldn't possibly have more than one; I didn't bother showing pix proving them wrong) with a Track Pack SRT, Adrenaline Red, and a Venom Black/Gunmetal GTS already on the floor, along with this Adrenaline Red GTS marked sold

and they want $20k over for each, although there are no stickers on the cars saying so. They claim that's what they got for the AR GTS, which would be a total of $154k. Uh huh. Remember, they're car salesmen.

Criswell can't even sell theirs at MSRP in Rockville...

Koons are a bunch of crooks.

When you know there are great dealers that post on here, why would anyone bother getting a car from anywhere else? The dealerships may be a few thousand miles away but All transactions could be done online and the car shipped to you? Why the hell would you want to pay more?

Does the black/gunmetal GTS have Track Pack? If so, I'm tempted. I'm growing tired of waiting for my car. As it is,I missed being able to take it to ALMS Laguna Seca. I have a track weekend paid for at Laguna Seca at the end of June, and a four day cruise planned down Highway 1, beginning July fourth. I would only pay MSRP (or less), and I wouldn't pay any additional to ship to NorCal.

I don't want to miss out on driving the beast this summer :drive:

Honesty you'd be in a decent position to get one below MSRP.

"I've got a car on order but I want one now, what can you do"

Not your fault you've been put on hold.

Just about everything BUT Track Pack. Laguna interior, red seat belts, Mopar car cover, HK 18-speaker, and Venom-Matte wheels, only $140k MSRP. Seeing it in person makes me understand why those who can pay the juice would. I have a black Chevy hatchback but GM 41U black, as fantastic as it looks when clean, is several notches below Venom Black. Here's a shot from Friday. Would load more but the image tool keeps saying "invalid URL" even though the first one worked fine.

No I guess not! Funny, around here this would be your cold-weather car because it's what Top Gear calls a KOO-pay, that is, not a vert or targa. Now THOSE are for summer.

Yikes, that's about the same price is my Stryker Red. Don't really want all those options.

How do you like the matte black wheels in person? I saw them on Adrenaline Red and didn't care for them, but they may work well on a black car. How about the red belts?

All righty, we'll give it a try even though the image tool is telling me "invalid URL" every time now. Follow the links if you can't see the photos.

The stripes are very interesting. Now you see 'em--

You know what, I didn't even notice the wheels. I must have liked them or I would have remembered "man those wheels don't look right." Couldn't see the seat belts because the car was roped off and I didn't ask to open the doors. It was a busy day and the staff seemed to prefer working with paying customers for some reason. This is a big dealer in Cary NC so that ought to give you enough of a clue to find them if you want to see what they can do for you. At the smaller dealer in Fayetteville, business was slow enough that they let me sit in the white/black stripes GTS and I was very impressed with the interior. The seat fit me just right, both snug and comfortable. Back to work so I can get one soon.

The links aren't working as photos because photobucket isn't letting you direct link an image, you get a web page with the image the first time you view it, and the image only works as intended on the second viewing of the same image. Website forum hosting and anonymous web browsing get redirected from the jpg to an html page showing the image.

Nothing you're doing wrong it seems.
