Valuation: 2014 Viper GTS, all white, black interior, Black VENOM-HYPER WHEELS wheels, 3300 miles....

a GTS, 3300 miles, All white, no strips, black interior, Black VENOM-HYPER WHEELS wheels. Car has a 48 month extended warranty. purchased April of last year. immaculate.

I am trying to get a REAL ballpark as to what to list it for. So, i am not gonna sit on it for 5 years, but also, so I get the most bang for my buck. All the additional comments are welcome too. I don't mind questions. It's all part of the internets appeal. all are equal. Another "bonus"(if having to deal with me, is a bonus) is I am willing to owner finance for about 3 years or less. no early payoff penalty. @ 15%(yeah, I am NOT a bank, and not Chrysler either), with 20% down. but bonus is it never goes on the buyers credit, nor impacts their D2I- debt to income, for those that don't know. I only list this because it, along with extended warranty, are "selling points". I am getting it detailed now, and can have pics. but for this portion, I do not think pics are necessary. Just a super clean, white(which I didn't see much of in my searchings), GTS. with extended warranty, and POSSIBLE financing.

Anyways, give me an idea, so I know where to list it at... probably be for sale in next week to 2. depends on how long the line is at the Man Cave(detail shop)

This is NOT a for sale ad, nor soliciting. I am looking for REAL WORLD value of this car.

updated mileage, also updated wheel type.

My first thought was not to delete it. My first thought was to comment that the car is probably still worth a lot, however, My concern would be the financing part as the bank on this as qualified himself...... Poorly. I know based on the intro, I wouldn't even consider making an offer.

OMG, I am NOT looking for offers!! I want to know what it should be priced for. Just as the ad stated. If you do NOT like the story attached to it, how it was acquired, ignore it. Does not change the fact that i AM an owner. My name is on the title. and it WILL be for sale. Just not yet. Valuations please, and THANK YOU.

You are going to have a hard time convincing someone to do a phantom deal (off the books at 15% interest rate or higher). I do not believe its 100% legal and called loan sharking. You are not a dealer or a loan company that have a banking licence. Yes thats right BANKING LICENCE, buddy. You are trying to make money with out showing interest. Normal way is to have someone is to take payments over, refinance your loan and then no drama after that. There will be a titling issues too with your senario. Just a really wrong way to handle this. You ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FINANCE SOMETHING THATS ALREADY FINANCED.

Please some one remove this thread.

DO NOT DELETE. There is always the remote chance that someone may fall for the deal...and then ship it to RSI for the double whammy. We need this.

Not that I care, but it seems the correct Gen section might get you some answers.

Couple of things- #1 It's not a "phantom deal", and I think you made that up! haha. I already have title in HAND, with my name on it, it is NOT financed- I OWN IT! new buyer will be putting into his name, ALONG with mine, until loan is complete.
#2- An individual IS allowed to charge UP TO but not beyond 15%, while banks and credit cards are allowed to charge UP TO 29.99%, which goes beyond that, with late fees and over limit fees etc. Also, Pawn shops, even those involved in "auto pawning" are allowed to charge 120% a year, Since their loans are calculated 10% a month.
#3- NO titling issues, since this will be put into next owners name.

I didn't know I was going to need to do a Legality and Banking school in a Viper forum. any other questions about banking and finance law, please PM me instead. I have been involved in PRIVATE LENDING for years. It's called hard money lending, and many home sales are made possible, because Hard money lenders step in to float a deal, until a bank finally gets off their butt, and finances the new owner.
I didn't know I had placed my Post in the wrong category, but I appreciate the moderator, moving it for me! THANKS!

I WILL post some photos, in couple of days. I was told car has had interior cleaning done, so I will snap a few pics, to give people HELPING ME VALUE IT, an actual car to put to the post.

Im interested in it if price is right. I've seen a number of GTS's with less miles listed at 79k.

Again, not a "for sale" listing. But I will take the 79k as a "suggestion". thanks. Seems super low, since I am seeing 2010's selling privately for 70 to 80 k. And none are white. White not a popular color?

I'll take two at 20% interest.

Wish I could take your money Smith, but I only have one..... but since you're wanting to throw away your money, how about some SWEET land in florida?? currently swampy, but in 20 years, it will be incredible sub division material, and you will be ready to pounce on that developer looking to open up a new retirement village......!!!!!

I don't think that your financing idea will be much of an attraction. I had never heard of such a thing before and never would consider it. I don't picture prospective buyers as being folks that would be interested in that financing and titling arrangement. As to value, the buyer wannabees (like me) are going to tell you low listing prices, and the owners are going to tell you high. You are just as credible a source as anyone here. I suspect that the 79k type listings are "special needs" Vipers but, I haven't done much research. I have heard of 2 fire-sale used 2013 SRT Vipers sell for around 70k but, those were guys that were highly motivated. They started out at high 70s. It seems like they are listing new at a few thousand over the "newest" invoice price, so, I would expect a used example to be say 15% less than that. Or, I would say, a used 2014 should be at least 15% less than a new 2015 sells for. I am just guessing here, as it is all dependent upon buyer and seller motivation.

Strangely, multiple people have already PM'd me about "taking me up on my financing offer", but I haven't actually listed a price, and this is NOT a for sale listing, so I kinda had to put them ON HOLD, until that is figured out. I like that you actually gave me something to work with, THANKS alot! I understand, my type of financing is NOT for everyone, and I understand that. People are more than welcome to go to their credit union, mom, dad, bank, wife, to get the funds. It all spends the same. Many small business owners, side workers, *** growers(in colorado and Washington of course), entertainers, the "underworld", etc do not show all their income on paper, and I am understanding of this, and I accept these types of clients, also. Even everyday people that make 120k a year, and have 3 or 4k every month disposable, but yet wouldn't qualify on a loan with traditional bank or credit union financing. How about the trust fund baby, or the "rich kid on a LOWLY $10,000 a month "allowance", by his parents? (yes, I have actually MET and helped a kid JUST LIKE THAT...- rich peoples problems, wish I had them....hahaha.) I usually have 50 to 60 ongoing loans at any given time, and probably 200 prior clients to attest to me and my business ethics. So I am a valid private lender. Only had to repossess 8 loans in my entire time of lending. pretty good track record. I love cars and motorcycles, so this has been a great fit for me. Hope this sheds a light on Private lending and Hard money lending- yes, not for everyone, but I wouldn't be around, if their wasn't a need. "Build it, and they will come"....

Ok i see you are "horseman of the dark side of private lending" riding in on a white horse (matches the viper), though. I believe if we had a subprime lending forum in this club your ambitious thread would not be questioned. The other thing is in the state of NJ, where i am from , all lending is regulated and you have to be registered with the banking licensing division, otherwise again its called LOAN SHARKING. But of course YOU, as a great guy as you are, you call it hard lending and just reaching out to people to help, since the loans are OFF THE BOOKS.
Also curious since i am in the car business, a 3300 mile viper needs a full detail? Did someone threw up in it or drove it through the woods? Normally a 3000 mile car should still smell new. A quick wash and vacuum would be enough.
Your loan tactics would sit well with Honda Civic forums. There are plenty of young kids dreaming of fast and furious cars and have no money or credit.
Last week we had some guy asking for bail money reaching out to viper community because he has a viper, now we have you this week, "A VIPER OWNER". Can not wait for next week and see who would decide to "quick blend" join tactic to come up with something else. Sorry can not help this. :lmao:

Ok Dennis the Dealer in New Jersey, I guess i will need to INFORM you of your own state. Actually NJ is one of the most LIBERAL states for Lending, in the nation. I will give you a quote. Please kindly put in your pipe... and enjoy the smoke:

"Of course, much of what is broadcast and filmed pertaining to life in New Jersey is fanciful. New Jersey is not a state in which a person can find a loan shark on every corner. However, with that said, New Jersey does have some of the most liberal laws in the country when it comes to personal lending practices and usury laws.

In this regard, when it comes to personal loans made from one individual to another, the usury cap is a very high 30% per annum. Loan sharking is subject to Federal RICO laws in most instances. Under RICO, in order for a person to be charged with loan sharking, that person would have be lending money to an individual at a rate twice the usury limit in a particular state. In other words, in order for a person to be charged with being a loan shark in New Jersey under Federal law, that person would have to be charging interest rates of 60% or more per annum -- which is an extraordinary amount.

When it comes to loans made to corporations, the usury limits is 50%. Again, this is one of the highest usury caps to be found anywhere in the United States. There are some exceptions to this law. However, as a general rule, this is the permissible cap on interest rates associated with loans made to corporations.

The statutory provisions governing usury in New Jersey can be found in Title 31 of New Jersey Statutes. The entire Title is dedicated to usury caps and related lending practices.

Generally speaking, a personal or corporate loan that has interest that exceeds the usury limits set forth by statute will be considered an illegal contract. As an illegal contract, it will be voided and considered unenforceable."

As far as the detailing, yes it has some dust inside it, maybe leather condition it, for next owner. I want to apply 22PLE(just google it.. amazing stuff), makes paint incredibly wet looking, and most all the Porsche, Ferrari guys at higher elevations absolutely love it. I enjoy to make a car look, as though it hadn't ever left the dealership. My hobby(obsession?)haha
Again, I do not mind, the off hand statements/comments, I do LOVE telling people about their own state laws. ESPECIALLY when they come off as some "higher than thou" car dealer, that likes to look down his "viper" nose at others, and judge. Typical. I have been around cars Fieros to Ferraris... Hondas to Hummers... I like them all. I judge no one. I have seen a turbo Honda WAX(kill...) a Henessey Viper.... and helped build a 1200 horsepower Skyline GTR vspec...(yes the old school one, "godzilla"), And rented time around Nuremburg, in a Porsche... I LOVE all cars...and MOST car people are good people. But those that talk as if they know "all", are usually the ones that know nothing... HAHA can't wait for the next silly comment.

Damn, I wish I would have been here, for the guy needing $ against his Viper! I got on here, just a LITTLE TOO LATE... hhahaaha...

I am closing this thread. No pics, forced financing, and quasi commercial, by a brand new poster. You've been given 2 estimates, IMO $79k seems high to me with a forced high interest rate (as we can all get a shiny new one for not much more and get it financed for 1.75% from a registered bank).

If you'd like to place this ad in the classified's please provide pics and the VIN for verification.
