When I put in the mopar performance controller the skip shift was eliminated. If you plan to upgrade or flash the computer, don't spend money on the elimitator. If you are staying stock, and it annoys you, get the eliminator, it is a very very easy install.
I have had the Snake Oyl cruise in mine for over 2 years now and no problems. I have driven my 05 to Massachusettes and back to Florida 3 times. The 2 with the cruise were much easier on the legs and I'm only 43. Throw in a couple of trips to Texas and I have had some long trips. I love...
There was a post here not long ago talking about a RB1 for $585 from moparpartszone.com. I can't find that post to find out how it went so here is my post.
I ordered one, they wrote back that it was the wrong part number. The 82206406AB($585:) ) not for the Viper. The 82208715AE($1618.50:omg: )...

I added the snake oyl one to mine also, works great. If you really don't like the look, the control head is a transponder so just keep it in the center console and pull it out when you need it, like a Garage door opener!
It is hot and sticky! It's not snowing but it is getting deep!
It won't let me post the .bmp and when I converted to .jpg this is what I got. If I can respond to a pm with an attachment, I will send the .bmp to you.
You know you hear all the stories about vipers. They have this, don't have that but will have this! Well I figure I would finally confirm the existance of the Limited Edition 2005 4 Door Viper. It came stock with Cruise, power top, traction control and a high compression 700HP V12! Great for...
Does anyone know if any of the aftermarket snap on hard tops will meet code. I have heard you can get one at some of the events for use at the event but am not sure.
I have the mopar race exhaust, cam and controller. The exhaust came with the capability to hook up the up and down stream O2 sensors. We did run into a problem after the install with blowing a fuse. Evidently the downstream O2 sensors and the reverse lock out are on the same circuit. Since I...
Longevity is a definate wish! I have 25,000+ on my 05 already and I hope to be able to pass this car on to my son one day. Like when he's 30 or 40 and won't kill himself!
I've driven all over with Massachusettes being the longest trip and I have had no battery issues. I use 6th all the time for cruising at 55+. It does not feel abnormal to me, it is like the car is just idling at that speed. Laying in wait, coiled, but relaxed and comfortable - ready to strike!
Evo, I bought my first mopar performance computer as soon as they came out and they did not control the a/c well. Freon vented, a/c would freeze up etc. They evidently fixed the problem and now the performance computer has an AB at the end of the part number. You are correct, they only have...
When on a road trip, what's wrong with 1200/1300 rpms? I use 6th at 60/65 all the time. I can shift when I need to pass and it is not like it is chugging or anything.
I know you did not mention it, but don't go mopar performance cam and computer. I did and have the mopar exhaust. I wanted to go all mopar. I like the sound but the cam and controller are definately not worth the money. Wish I would have put the money elsewhere like a reflash or something.
